Life Orientation
This programme was designed to assist life orientation educators in South Africa in the following areas:
- To supply free resources, aligned to the national curriculum, to the educators’ teacher manuals
- To supply free work books for students in the schools, aligned with the curriculum
- To supply quality accredited training for the educators in order to increase their capacity to teach and specifically teach the area of life orientation
- To measure the impact of school LO programmes being rolled out as it relates to behaviour change
This year we will endeavour to provide training in 7 of the 9 provinces, with thousands of educators and millions of students being reached through a partnership effort with OneHope, CDC, PEPFAR, the Department of Education and Reaching a Generation.
